Banquet Halls / Reception Site - This eliminates travel for the wedding party and guests.

Occasions Party Centre in Clinton OH was the location for a wedding in April.  The couple chose one of the gazebos as a lovely ceremony site!

La Pizzeria Ristorante & Banquet Center in Canton OH has several banquet rooms, including the beautiful new crystal ballroom.

Country Clubs - will often rent space to non-members.  Willowdale Lake Country Club on 241/Wales in the North Canton/Jackson Township area was the site of a recent wedding with the ceremony held outside at the gazebo, and the reception inside the hall.

Garden Centers - The Canton Garden Center has many beautiful settings for weddings.  The Tree House is a fun spot, and the fountain is also close by for a different backdrop.       Holden Arboretum in Kirtland OH is another location with beautiful gardens and friendly staff that help make the day so enjoyable.

Historical Sites - Some creative couples find places such as lighthouses and museums to be the right place for their ceremonies.

Hotels - With plenty of space for out of town guests, and facilities for larger groups, this could be a great place for both your ceremony and reception.  Many couples I’ve worked with have found Wedding Specialist, Jamie Housley, at The Sheraton Akron/Cuyahoga Falls to be most helpful!

Parks - City, township, or state parks make lovely settings.  Price Park in North Canton has been a common setting for weddings, with two gazebos to choose from.  Boardman Park’s chapel was the setting for a beautiful November wedding.   North Canton’s Dogwood Park shelter held the costumed guests for a fun Halloween wedding last year.  Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Metropark in Youngstown is a lovely location.

Atwood Lake Park and the Atwood Lake Resort and Conference Center have lovely locations and facilities for weddings.

Private Homes - Some couples choose to marry at the family home or the home of friends.

Proposal site - Some couples prefer to have their ceremony at the location of the proposal.

Public Landmarks - The Garden Center at Monument Park in Canton offers a variety of beautiful scenery for ceremonies.

Restaurants - Some have large private banquet rooms that can accommodate various sized gatherings.  The Hartville Kitchen’s banquet room was the scene of a lovely wedding in December.  No need to supply decorations, as the entire building was already spruced up for the holiday season.

Mapleside Farms & Restaurant in Brunswick is a picturesque location for outdoor ceremonies with convenient dining close by.

Vacation Destinations - A lovely getaway spot in Amish Country is Country Cottage and Gardens .  Mineral City is the location for the cottages and gardens that provide a special atmosphere for both intimate and large gatherings.   It’s been my experience that Innkeeper Carolene creates an enchanted atmosphere while Chef Eric’s culinary skills will provide an unforgettable gourmet meal.

For a fun-filled wedding adventure, both small and large parties have enjoyed a ceremony and reception at

Kalahari Resorts - Sandusky.   While for the most adventurous couples - a ceremony on board one of the roller coasters at Cedar Point might be more appropriate!  For those who are find the roller coasters a bit much, but still love the atmosphere of the amusement parks, a beautiful carousel wedding could be more your style.
